We still do not have much information to do much of a write up on the 9th generation .Thankfully the senior members of Morning Musume have been sharing little bits of news and photos in their blogs. Hey H!P here is an idea  make a 9th gen blog ,so fans can learn about the 9th gen and their training and activities ,so when they make their official debut ,they will have fans.

Speaking of 9th generation, looks like they have been at it again.

Erina has brought gifts to the group [Thanks to Aichan`s blog]

And Sayu has already started to “train/influence/mind manipulation” whatever Sayu`s charm does to people by having the 9th gen create their own generation symbol for photos.

When Sayu gets to be the sub-leader later this year ,watch out because the 9th gen are going to be something to see on television ,when Sayu get’s through with them ,cuteness will overflow Morning Musume.

In Aika's blog she hints that 9th gen will not have solo teachers , but the group will train them by example.

And again this time it doesn’t seem like there will be anyone to train them officially
so I hope we can all become friends as soon as possible

Kanon has become a hometown and Prefecture celebrity as she had a write up in her Prefecture newspaper. She is being called Aichi’s Star of Hope  .Sayu was also excited at this news and made sure to share it with her fans .

A lot has been said about Morning Musume`s newest 9th gen member Ikuta Erina being a fan of AKB48 and how it has created an anti fan base.

The childish attitudes of anti-fans has struck again and caused another idol to give up her dreams, this time they have “driven out” the sub-leader of Momoiro Clover Hayami Akari.

It`s really no secret that she had the smallest fan base of the members ,for whatever the reasons Akari struggled to gain fans at the same rate of the other members and her self-esteem seems to have suffered to the point that she is giving up her dreams of being an idol at 16 years of age.

When you see the words written in her blog, you can see how much this has broken her down .Akari uses words such as feeling guilty and that she is just an unnecessary member of the group.

Akari formally told Momoclo fans last night at a fan event. Akari told Momoclo fans that she was not good enough to be an idol .Akari explained while crying, “My personality is not suitable to be an idol, and I was thinking that I should not be in ‘Momoclo.’ There was also a time when I had disliked ‘Momoclo.’ Akari did make it clear that she loves Momoclo and this decision was very painful to her to make.

Momoclo leader Momota Kanako also spoke and said the following “I have no words to say. To be honest, I really wanted to aim for ‘Kohaku’ with these six members. However, Akarin’s life is hers. All we can do is to support her with all our hearts.”

Akari will officially graduate after promoting their upcoming single on April 10 at Nakano Sun Plaza.

Being a parent of a girl who is in a field of entertainment ,I can say that I have zero respect for anti-fans .They are childish and do nothing for any industry with posting hateful comments on a celebrity's blog ,showing disrespect to them in public . So everyone forgive me when I say that they are the worst kind of fan.

When you play with the emotions of a young girl, who only wanted to be a singer and dancer. To entertain others with her smile and talents, you damage not only a little girl, her family, but also the members of her group.

Whatever her reasons ,it does not take a lot to figure out ,that her spirit is broken ,that this is much deeper then a girl ,who just decided that she would just stop being an idol.

Anti fans think that posting dislike for an idol or celebrity, is ok and that no one gets hurt.

Well people get hurt and for whatever the reasons, they give up their dreams.

Many anti-fans gave one of the newest members of Morning Musume Ikuta Erina a wide range of hateful comments on fan sites after it was discovered that she was a fan of AKB48.

Personally I think anti-fans of any group or person is childish, it`s OK to not like any group and support only one group, but to wish harm or failure on any artist is childish.

Truth is Erina like most girls her age is a fan of AKB48 . Some H!P wotas would like everyone to believe that there is a big rivalry between H!P/Morning Musume and AKB48 ,the only rivalry is in the mind of these fans. Many members of H!P are not only very close friends with members of AKB48 ,they also attend school with members and both companies have members that are fans of each other.

Sayu is one of the biggest idol wotas in H!P and maybe all of Japan and if it`s OK for Sayu ,it`s OK for Erina.

Before Erina joined Morning Musume ,she had the chance to meet the idols that her and her class members supported. Now as a member of Morning Musume ,these same class members will be supporting Erina to do her best as an idol as a member of Morning Musume.


If you go to 6:37, you will see Erina and class members being interviewed after attending an AKB48 handshake event. Erina mostly cries ,it`s cute seeing her in her pre-idol days as just a school girl fan .



Erina recently has shown her feelings for being a member of Morning Musume.
On Bijo Gaku, she said this about Sayu.


She said, "That Sayumi put her microphone in front of her while they were singing Tomo, and that it made her really happy."

Goodbye Linlin: Linlin Returns Home

Forgive me for not mentioning this news earlier tonight, I had my own events to attend to and was not able to focus on other things.


Linlin has returned to China, she left one last post; it was a poem that expressed her feelings and thanks to everyone.

Current Morning Musume leader Takahashi Ai and JunJun went to the airport with her to see her off.

Some of her fans have mentioned that she made a blog comment of joining a company in China; I have not seen this comment, so I do not know if it is true. Linlin was a growing child actress in China before joining Morning Musume, so there is a chance that she will return to that line of work.

Nothing official has been announced about her new career, so with that, I think it`s best that Linlin herself says goodbye.

New AKB48 Drama, 11 For AKB + Sashiko TV Show

 AKB48 will be staring in a new drama. The drama is called “Sakura Kara no Tegami~AKB48 Sorezore no Sotsugyou Monogatari~“, and stars all of the AKB48 members. It will be broadcasted on nine consecutive nights from February 26 to March 6.

The drama centers on a male high school teacher (Kamikawa Takaya), who only has three months left to live due to cancer, and his students’ daily lives and conflicts.  The drama will be based on the lyrics of AKB48’s upcoming single, “Sakura no Ki ni Narou“, which will be released on February 16th, and it will also be used as its main theme song.

AKB48 will provide all the songs to the drama. Seven of the episodes will be 10-minute mini episodes, with the first and last episodes 30 and 60 minutes.

The drama will be released on a DVD-BOX, including the making-of, as well as the interview to the members.

11 For AKB

The “Kouhaku Effect” lives on for AKB48 as they not only last week set a female artist record by having four singles at onetime in the top ten .Now they have managed to do one better by having 11 singles in the Oricon Top 100 ,some in fact were released  two years ago.

The big four from last week remains in the top ten with “Heavy Rotation” in second, “Chance no Junban” in third, “Beginner” in fourth, and “Ponytail to Shushu” in sixth.

Making the next biggest jumps were “Namida Surprise!” jumping from 117 to 71, “Oogoe Diamond” a single released two years ago moved all the way back up the chart to 74  and “Juunen Zakura” managed to reach 88.

Currently there are only three other artists who have had more singles in the top 100 at the same time then AKB48 .They are Southern All Stars, Matsutouya Yumi, and L’arc~en~ciel.

Oricon officials also announced that they see no end in sight to AKB48`s impressive accomplishments ,predicting that the current 11 singles are likely to stay in the top 100 for sometime and ,they will continue to set a new record with each new single added to the Oricon top 100 list.

 Sashihara Rino had her first episode of her new variety show air recently. The show is titled “Sashiko no Kuseni” and features Sasshi facing a number of challenges.

The song is H!P style catchy ,If you have followed this site for any amount of time ,then you should be starting to tell that each group covered has their own sound and style.

The second that you hear the intro, you know that this is an S/mileage song .The PV is all right, it in some ways feels like an Indie idol PV.

Coming on the heels of the great momentum and renewed fan interest that was gained by the announcement of the 9th generation members; Hello!Project has managed to put that to an end ,cause some fans to announce they are jumping to AKB48 and a mix of other in shock remarks.

For me, I am not surprised and you should really prepare yourself for more to come as Morning Musume is rebuilding itself.

Earlier this evening current leader Takahashi Ai, announced her upcoming graduation from both Morning Musume and Hello!Project .

Aichan said that she was asked back when it was decided that Kamei Eri ,JunJun and LinLin would graduate ,to decide when she wanted to graduate as well.

Aichan decided that devoting ten years of her life to Morning Musume and Hello!Project was enough and that now is the time to move on.

Aichan will not be leaving Morning Musume ,immediately. She will stay on to help mold and shape the 9th generation and to prepare Risa and  Sayumi [most likely] to become Leader and Sub-Leader . It was also announced that Niigaki Risa will become the new leader after Tanahashi`s graduation.


Aichan will officially graduate at the end of Morning Musume's 2011 Autumn concert tour [in 9 months].

Aichan has had a good run ,she has been a member of this group longer then anyone else and has been the longest leader in the group's history.

Aichan will remain in entertainment after her graduation, by either continuing in music or acting or both. Her plans will be announced later.

As sad as this event will be to her fans ,it was time under the way Morning Musume works . You also have to respect her decision and how she is leaving .She could have easily done a Fujimoto Miki and walked away from this new lineup ,without them being properly prepared for the change . Instead all the way to the end ,she is showing her love ,concern and leadership , by making sure that the 9th generation are properly trained ,that Risa and Sayu[again most likely ,not official announcement] have time to prepare to take over the group.

Takahashi Ai , may not have been the most publicly outspoken leader ,however she will end her time as one of the most caring.

Extra notes
Sub Leader Note- The next sub leader will be either Sayu or Reina .It`s always been believed that Sayu was after Eri in rank .With Eri graduated ,Sayu should be next in leadership rank. Both want to be the leader of Morning Musume before their graduation.

The Up-Front chairmen Yamazaki has a lot of say in who joins and who leaves Morning Musume and has been doing so since 2006 .
