AKB48 Grows By Eight
The management of AKB48 has announced that eight members of the research members has been promoted to AKB48 .At this time, they have not been placed in teams.
Research members Ohba Mina, Shimazaki Haruka, Shimada Haruka, Takeuchi Miyu, Nagao Mariya, Nakamura Mariko, Mori Anna, and Yamauchi Suzuran were promoted at the AKB48 5th anniversary concert yesterday at the AKB48 Theater.
AKB48 in 5 years has come a long way from their beginnings to performing in front of seven people to million record sellers.
With no opposition in their way and a producer who is only a lyricist and bringing in top names to compose AKB48 music ,this powerful combination is sure to keep producing the groups modern ,in-demand music for many years to come.
In related news, it is being reported by Korean media that members of AKB48 will be making guest appearances in an upcoming Korean Drama "Dream High".
