Tsunku`s AKIHABARA Backstage Pass Idol Café has now opened [today is opening day] , below is an English commentary video of just what Tsunku has in mind.
It`s actually really cool the customers will decide if the staff will become idols.
No other maid café in Akihabara uses this system.
If you watched the newest episode of Tsunku`s new show ,then you saw some new idol groups that had not been on the show ,I thought that it would be a good show you some of the artists outside of Tsunku`s show that we have not covered on PIH .
First up is ASAS which stands for As Soon As. ASAS is a new unit signed under Victor Entertainment and recently had a debut release. The group is from Kansai and they like use Kansai dialect in their music.

I almost forgot about this episode, because I have been so busy. This episode we have part two of the dart game episode .Tsunku can throw a good game as well.
Overall I feel the show is starting to slip a bit I the creativity department , but what I am excited about is Tsunku has taken the show one step beyond the television , by producing live single day concert festivals with the groups on the show.
Hello!Project ,Nice Girl Project! producer Tsunku and Afilia Saga East co-producer and 5pb owner Chiyomaru Shikura have come together for the latest Akihabara idol cafe.
The cafe is named “AKIHABARA Back sta<-->ge pass” and is just three minutes from AKB`s Theater. “AKIHABARA Back sta<-->ge pass” combines the two moguls strong points into one for a perfect combination that will be hard to beat on the Independent level.
“AKIHABARA Back sta<-->ge pass” concept will be idols in training while working at the cafe .Once the girls reach their training graduation they will become a full-fledged idol group and have an official debut.
The cafe will also see other active idols making guest appearances. Both the cafe and supporting web site will open at the end of November. No time schedule for when the unnamed group will debut.
Footnote -This unit will likely be on 5pb`s recording label, which has Afilia Saga East, Kosaka Riyu and 24 other recording artists under contract.
Sorry that I could not get this up yesterday as I had other commitments. This week we get to see more of the recording. I am still on the fence as to if I like the song or not just yet , but as long as Tsunku keeps helping out Indie Idols and growing this genre ,I am in his corner on this show.
This episode it`s hard to pick who has the best voice ,they are all so special in their own way and you may want to watch it more then once just to take in all the voices recording today.
If you have been following this show since I have started posting it, then you may notice that this show seemed to be building up to a point, was it an audition? Did Tsunku-san have something in mind? The answers to both questions are yes.
This week you will see why Tsunku-san has been gathering Indie Idol groups from across Tokyo for weeks now.
You may notice that these episodes get a lot of dislike votes on youtube ,these come from anti the Possible fan who feel that Tsunku-san spends more time with them and other Indies when he should instead spend every second of his life on H!P .
This small band of antis spend all of their time voting down anything that the Possible or their sister groups are on.
This week Tsunku brings in more groups to sing for his pleasure four songs will not air this wee.
We have the H!P guest , and the normal cast of Indie Idols and some fresh faces and the weekly required Possible swimsuit promotions.
More or less it`s the same thing we have seen for all the episodes.
Sorry for the lateness of this as I am currently not feeling well.
This week Tsunku brings in more groups to sing for his pleasure or scout for Aichan`s replacement as this show is feeling more and more like a giant audition.
We have the H!P guest ,Afilia intimidated by the size of one Possible member and the weekly required Possible promotions.
More or less it`s the same thing we have seen for the last 11 episodes. As entertaining as it is to see Indies on a national stage ,there is a lot to be said about AKB48 having a TV/Music producer as boss. Will somebody fire a Dodgeball or a pie at somebody once please ,lol.
Another week and this time Tsunku heads to the wota Disneyland of Akihabara .Akiba is a wonderful place for an Indie fan as the place is crawling with Indie Idols and soon to be Idols.
This week can be described as idols grab you off the street.
The ultimate dream of any fan it is to be captured by an idol while walking down the street. That didn`t happened, instead the targets were other idol groups .For the captured ones the punishment is to perform for Tsunku. Man an Idol cannot even enjoy a day off with Tsunku pulling you into his show.
We also have the returning feature of promote the Possible swimsuit DVD.
There is also Tsunku`s Idol pre-school as a bunch of 9-10 Idols have a late segment CM and find their inner diva.
If Tsunku wanted to keep doing this theme for a few weeks he could, Akiba is overflowing with Indie Idols.
Last week our loveable heroes were locked in a vicious battle of wrestling for a free PR segment. This week we have the second half with a classic main event between two titans, well one titan and one 140 cm Afilia Saga East Panda. The main event features Yurika from the Possible vs the little panda from ASE Kohime .This was an epic battle, which left everyone drained.
Ok maybe I am over promoting it, but it sure was fun to watch the little panda fight for the honor of Afilia Saga East.
I am starting to think that Tsunku and I are connecting on some level. I think that he is trying to see how many of my buttons he can push, before I snap, lol.
OK all joking aside, Tsunku takes our trip down idol road even deeper this week with the Indie idols bed wrestling. For the winners it`s a full promo.
I really don`t have many words for this other then if you like idols in swimsuits,school uniform, wrestling you can`t miss this or Tsunku yelling "no hands! No hands!" There is also another reason to watch Ai from AeLL is fighting in this.
