Tanaka Reina to Leave Morning Musume

It has been officially announced that  Tanaka Reina will graduate this coming spring from Morning Musume  .The event is called “Morning Musume。Concert Tour 2013 Spring Michishige☆Eleven SOUL ～Tanaka Reina Special Commemoration Graduation”.

It has been decided that her focus will be on her upcoming rock band.

Tsunku asked everyone in a message to continue to support Reina as she transitions into her new music career.

Reina in her letter also stated that she would be leaving both Morning Musume and Hello!Project.
As to Reina`s unnamed band the members are [co-vocals w/Reina] Okada Marina (19), Uozumi Yuki (21) [Guitar] & Miyazawa Marin (19) [Guitar] with another one or two possible members .Reina has mentioned in the past that she would like to see her band rival SCANDAL.

I am sure that many fans will be upset, as for me graduations do not trouble me; instead I look to the journey ahead for both the member graduating and the remaining members.
Morning Musume has always been about change, which is something that I have watched from the day the group was created, each graduation brings the group to a new evolution.

It`s time for Reina to become more than an Idol, she`s earned that right. Reina will go on to do great things as she in my view is one of the top three singers the group has ever had. [Abe Natsumi and Takahashi Ai being the others].

In each evolution of Morning Musume they have shown to have a strong surviving will and freshness, and great things and great fresh members comes from it. Morning Musume will continue to be strong as will Reina, long after she says her last goodbye.

Now Reina get that rock record out already and let`s do this thing.

Tanaka Reina Joins a Rock Band

If any Musume could pull this off it would be Reina.

A few hours ago it was announced that Morning Musume`s Tanaka Reina under the blessings of Tsunku is holding auditions to create her own female rock band. [Sorry for the posting delay, life got in the way]

It`s no secret that Reina and Sayu`s time in Morning Musume is coming to an end and a new and exciting age in Morning Musume`s history is starting to develop.

With Reina now holding auditions starting June 17 for musicians to support her in a rock band, is Reina now starting to plan her life out of Morning Musume?

Think about it for a moment, if this project takes off like say the bands SCANDAL or ZONE, do you honestly believe that Up-Front will not milk this for every yen they can generate.

This brings us to one last possible speculation that the clock is now ticking , a good number of fans on both sides of the ocean have been openly discussing what seems to be Reina`s halfhearted work and disinterested expressions in the dance version of One,Two,Three.

With her and Sayu the last remaining members that have any connection the legacy that Morning Musume established, could Reina, now be mentally cashing in her Morning Musume card and thinking of future goals?

While we will never know how Reina truly feels , it`s clear that the 9th,10th generations are in this to win and they have an uncontrolled spirit all their own that is taking Morning Musume down a path of their making and for Reina and Sayu that means life after Morning Musume .

With Reina now creating her own rock band, the excitement of this project, will not keep many from speculating has the clock for Reina been pushed?

I am not going to be harsh on her video expressions as some wotas have been, because I am not concerned with it. For me the fact that she is willing to step into a new genre is exciting and I am looking forward to seeing this play out.

Tanaka Reina And Michishige Sayumi Land Drama Roles

Morning Musume`s Tanaka Reina and Michishige Sayumi have been cast as co-stars in a new NTV drama set to air January 11 called “Suugaku Joshi Gakuen”.

“Suugaku Joshi Gakuen” will not only feature Reina and Sayu, but will also see several members of H!P joining the series in guest appearances . They are Mano Erina, Tsugunaga Momoko , Sudo Maasa Yajima Maimi, Nakajima Saki, , Suzuki Airi , Wada Ayaka, Fukuda Kanon, and Tamura Meimi .

For their part Reina and Sayu will be the focus point of the drama who are rivals in a math club ,The H!P visiting members will serve as opponents for Reina and Sayu ,while actor Sakurada Dori will be the male co-star who has zero interest in being on the math team.

Tanaka Reina Becomes A TV Regular

Morning Musume`s Tanaka Reina has become the first member of the current lineup to score a regular TV position. Tanaka will be a part of the cast for TV Tokyo’s Uta no Rakuen starting April 4.

Uta no Rakuen is a viewer’s request singing program, where viewers send in song requests for the cast to sing in a theme style setting.
