Idol Round Up: Morning Musume`s new single Help Me!!

This time of year there is not a lot of news going on as groups gear up for the New Year .As I have been waiting just like the rest of you for our new web site to be completed so we can move, i have been posting random Idol things on our Facebook page.

One of the things that I just posted was the dance video to Morning Musume`s new single Help Me!! . As Pure Idol Heart deals with mostly Independent Idols, I may not post this on our main blog, so if you want to go visit our Facebook Page and see the video and other things I have posted, such as videos, pictures of my friends the Thai dance idol group Magical cover; Afilia Saga East and anything else I think is interesting, you can do so at any time by going here.

I would urge every reader to follow our Facebook page as there will be times, when something doesn`t have a big story to go with it and we will post it on our Facebook page instead as we have a number of followers who like that option over the blog.

Tanaka Reina to Leave Morning Musume

It has been officially announced that  Tanaka Reina will graduate this coming spring from Morning Musume  .The event is called “Morning Musume。Concert Tour 2013 Spring Michishige☆Eleven SOUL ～Tanaka Reina Special Commemoration Graduation”.

It has been decided that her focus will be on her upcoming rock band.

Tsunku asked everyone in a message to continue to support Reina as she transitions into her new music career.

Reina in her letter also stated that she would be leaving both Morning Musume and Hello!Project.
As to Reina`s unnamed band the members are [co-vocals w/Reina] Okada Marina (19), Uozumi Yuki (21) [Guitar] & Miyazawa Marin (19) [Guitar] with another one or two possible members .Reina has mentioned in the past that she would like to see her band rival SCANDAL.

I am sure that many fans will be upset, as for me graduations do not trouble me; instead I look to the journey ahead for both the member graduating and the remaining members.
Morning Musume has always been about change, which is something that I have watched from the day the group was created, each graduation brings the group to a new evolution.

It`s time for Reina to become more than an Idol, she`s earned that right. Reina will go on to do great things as she in my view is one of the top three singers the group has ever had. [Abe Natsumi and Takahashi Ai being the others].

In each evolution of Morning Musume they have shown to have a strong surviving will and freshness, and great things and great fresh members comes from it. Morning Musume will continue to be strong as will Reina, long after she says her last goodbye.

Now Reina get that rock record out already and let`s do this thing.

This is one of my favorite groups to see live or on video and their choice of ride to events is sweet.

Morning Musume: Wakuteka Take a Chance PV [Provisional]

Morning Musume has released a PV for their 51st single, I can`t believe I’ve lasted all 51 singles as a fan; time sure has gone by fast.

This version of “Wakuteka Take a Chance” is a provisional or temporary version if you like, because Ayumi was injured at the time and could not dance, so an alternate version was released to meet promotional deadlines.

A new version is expected to be released at a later date.

This version features some close ups, some auto tune and CGI and 100% Morning Musume style cuteness.

This is one PV that your either going to like or dislike right from the start and the vast majority of fans here and overseas is on board with this.
Overall I like Wakuteka Take a Chance and after 50 Morning Musume singles and countless albums I am use to how Tsunku works and thinks as well as Up-Front.

While there are some minor things that I am not a fan of from a visual standpoint, it`s not enough to vote thumbs down .So I think you`ll find this a thumbs up video, just like I did. 

Morning Musume Worldwide

On the heels of adding the historic 11th gen member Oda Sakura ,Morning Musume has announce a move to build a stronger worldwide fan base.
Much of the details have not been announced yet ,however International fan handshake events have been announced.
The first three are set for Thailand ,Taiwan and France.

Oda Sakura Joins Morning Musume As 11Th Gen Member

H!P Trainee and 11th Gen finalist Oda Sakura has Joined Morning Musume as 11th Gen Member
She is the only member of the 11th Generation .This is the 3rd time in Morning Musume`s history that one member has represented a generation.

Tsunku-san said that he wanted to find strong vocals in this audition ,it`s hard to say with what little footage that is out ,if he achieved that goal , however he did follow the classic pattern of the girl next door Idol.



For this round my heart is for Nice Girl Trainee and member of Tsunku`s Backstage Pass Café idols Ono Haruka.

Even if she doesn’t make it , I am ok with that.

With the 9th,10th and 11th generations Morning Musume are reloading nicely for another exciting run and that run alive is enough for me whoever ends up being selected .

Doll Factory

One of the stages at Tokyo Idol Festival is called Doll Factory .

One of the girls you will see in this program ,is a member of Tsunku`s Backstage Pass Café and a Morning Musume 11 gen audition member.

Ono Haruka
3:16 on this clip ,she is a trainee in Nice Girl Project and works at Backstage Pass Idol Café .The girls that follow her are also from Tsunku`s Nice Girl Project.

Sayu and Baseball

Morning Musume`s leader Michishige Sayumi is doing the announcements in the background of this professional baseball game . Her high pitched anime voice when players come to at bat is ten minutes of greatness of cuteness.

Morning Musume BVS

Due to the Olympics the program didn`t air , but will resume next week ,so here is the song battle episode subbed to watch instead. As a refresher ,this is the episode when Sayu was hit in the eye and admitted that in concerts her mic is turned lower than others as she can`t sing well .Reina finds herself in controversy again and 9-10th gen are out of control as usual.

I have to say that 9th and 10th generation have renewed my enjoyment of Morning Musume ,they have brought freshness to the group.

Morning Musume, One, Two, Three Regular

Morning Musume has just released the regular version PV of their new single “One, Two, Three”
It`s not much different from the dance, just throw in close ups and a lot of CGI.

This video is one of their better videos in sometime, from lighting, background and costumes.

I am not a big fan of auto tune, but in this case it seems to work a bit.
