When AKB48 was first created, everyone including myself figured that the 48 stood for the number of members in the group. We were all so wrong .The 48 at the end of AKB48 is in fact teams.

Welcome to the idol wars Team 4. That is right AKB48 has expanded.


Six more trainees will be promoted later to make them a full 16 member team.
