Afilia Saga East returns to the site with a new single teaser. Honestly I`ve been a bit down on ASE lately with all the other edgier idol groups coming out recently , however this teaser pulls at my heart ,much the same way as label mates ARTERY VEIN catches my eyes at times.

Last week our loveable heroes were locked in a vicious battle of wrestling for a free PR segment. This week we have the second half with a classic main event between two titans, well one titan and one 140 cm Afilia Saga East Panda. The main event features Yurika from the Possible vs the little panda from ASE Kohime .This was an epic battle, which left everyone drained.

Ok maybe I am over promoting it, but it sure was fun to watch the little panda fight for the honor of Afilia Saga East.

On August 20, Afilia Saga East held a live event that was titled as a battle between them and their producer Halko.



The live starts with their very popular Indie artist/ producer Halko [Haruko Momoi] .If you are familiar with the group UNDER 17, then you have likely seen her perform. Momoi is a classic anime style singer and does a lot of work in that industry, from composing songs, to performing and voice acting.

For me the crown jewel of this live is the idols of moe Afilia Saga East. If you never seen this group perform live, then shame on you [just kidding, lol.]

ASE is just like every other Indies, live concerts are the main focus for Indies and a great deal of time is used on creating live shows that stand out over other units. ASE lives are just as entertaining as any idol unit out.

It`s time for some more summertime idol swimsuit videos .This time it`s the moe maid cafe idols of Afilia Saga East. This is by far the most under rated group in the industry, a unit that deserves to be more popular then they really are, however their thing is working and fans of this cafe franchise are head over heels for these idols, regardless of Oricon rankings.

So enjoy Afilia Saga East as they bring a reminder of summertime as only they can do. I can`t recall the number of times idols have kissed the camera before in a video as Afilia Saga East does. The videos that come in the DVD has so much pact into them, that I don`t know were to start breaking the videos down, so I`ll just let you be surprised. If your a fan of Afilia Saga East ,the song and video will leave you happy and ready for summertime fun. If you have never experienced Afilia Saga East ,now is a goodtime to start.

Afilia Saga East: A Must Watch Idol TV Experience

Seems like forever since I had the chance to write about Afilia Saga East .Well Hello!Project producer Tsunku who has recently started to become more and more involved with Afilia Saga East ,invited them to be a part of his TV show "TsunTube" .

Also on this episode is The Possible, the stage is set at around the three minute mark, when Afilia decide to take over the show and run wild.

The Possible at first look like they want to be any place but here ,while ASE turn into kindergarten kids .

I will say this for ASE when they decide to take over a TV show, they know how to do it and in the Indie ranks, they are one of the best in show hijacking.

If more units acted like ASE who at one point staged their own ambush of The Possible and other acts of foolishness, the idol world would be a much better place.

It was in fact ASE ambush of The Possible at the 10-minute mark that got The Possible to decide to show up and when they do ASE takes the battle to them complete with supply troops to keep the ammunition in this case toy balls flying at The Possible.

This is must watch idol TV even if you don`t support the two groups, just to watch ASE show how “evil & cute” maid cafe idols can be, lol.

Music Previews: Afilia Saga East, C-ute, Gacharic Spin


In this preview, we have idols and rock.

First up are the darlings of Afilia as Afilia Saga East start promotions of their new album. I have to say, not sure, what I enjoyed the most in this PV, the fact that Afilia is as cute as ever, the song being good or the girls trying to fly on witch brooms. Ok learning to fly won me over, well the entire package did. This group just keeps getting better.

C-ute have released the PV for their new single “Momoiro Sparkling”
This single has the typical H!P sound and may take a few spins to pull in mainstream fans. Overall it`s a summer upbeat type song with lots of C-ute goodness.

Up and coming female rock band Gacharic Spin will be releasing their first mini album “Virgin-A” and have recently released the single “Lost Angel” .

This is a group that will need to take time to grow on you if you have never heard of them before .Don`t count them short as they are making a name for themselves among female rock band fans and in the JRock genre.

Guitarist TOMO-ZO use to be the lead guitarist for Eu-Phoria while bassist F CHOPPER KOGA was a member of THE PINK PANDA. These two are a great team, complete with guitar spins
