Unless they get deleted ,i plan to bring you footage of the other stages that you experience at Tokyo Idol Festival. TIF is a two-day 50 mostly independent ,small major idol group’s festival ,which is semi hosted by Idoling!!!

Suugaku Joshi Gakuen

The members of Hello!Project, Nice Girl Project and more have joined together for a new drama called Suugaku Joshi Gakuen .The drama stars Morning Musume`s Michishige Sayumi and Tanaka Reina and features just about everyone else from the agency and the Possible .

Sayu and Reina are members of a math club who wage math battles and other mischief in the school with their  factions. The only male in the school ,who gets in the middle of this madness wishes to be anyplace but math club.

Reina is really funny in this drama and gives me the feeling that she should be a Super Sentai Ranger or the female co-lead in a Kamen Rider series ,just for the comedy value. For longtime Musume fans Sayu has her dark Sayu style coming out again.

Riho also plays a big role in the drama so far.

Idol Movie

This is the dream of any fan, take idols from several units and put them in one movie.

Universal is releasing an idol cast movie called “Cheerfu11y” .The leads are Kikkawa Yuu and Hayami Akari .The support cast is made up of Passpo☆ members Tamai Anna, Anzai Naomi, Sakuma Kaho, and Mori Shiori. Up-Up Girls` Furukawa Kontasu and Mori Saki .From the Possible Akiyama Yurika and Goto Yuki and Canary Club’s Niwa Mikiho .Now all we need is Tsunku as director ,lol.

The movie is about these 11 girls and a broken statue .In order for the girls to pay for the damages they enter a cheerleading competition.

This is shades of the 80`s era idol genre, when idols from several agencies were cast in the same dramas.

Tsunku And Indie Idols Week #9

Last week our loveable heroes were locked in a vicious battle of wrestling for a free PR segment. This week we have the second half with a classic main event between two titans, well one titan and one 140 cm Afilia Saga East Panda. The main event features Yurika from the Possible vs the little panda from ASE Kohime .This was an epic battle, which left everyone drained.

Ok maybe I am over promoting it, but it sure was fun to watch the little panda fight for the honor of Afilia Saga East.

It`s that time of the year again, when the idol world below the 48`s and H!P come together with over 30 idol units[final lineup should be near 50] for a multi day Idol festival  [Wota Heaven] .

The first lineups are out and is tradition the main acts get first billing .

Idoling!!!, Sakura Gakuin, The Possible, SUPER☆GiRLS, Tokyo Joshiryu, Vanilla Beans, Fudanjuku, Passpo☆, and YGA.

This year’s theme is “Eco & Smile” and will be an eco-friendly festival ,while bringing more need to the sufferers of the Tohoku Earthquake.

To live up to this theme power will come from private generators and there will be disaster relief projects that the idols will undertake.

One light hearted moment took place during the press conference when Sakura Gakuin`s Mizuno Yui was asked a difficult question , however the ever smiling idol stepped up to the situation and answered with “I’ll ask my teacher,” and ran over to their manager.

The festival will kickoff at Shinagawa Yoshimoto Prince Theater  on August 24,25,26 and will continue on August 27 and 28

The Possible New Special Single Release

[Playing catch up again]

Nice Girl Project! Members The Possible have a new special release single out as they are teaming up with the cast of the YTV TV show "Oto No Moto" .This union was made possible thanks to The Possible being guests together with Tsunku on a segment called “rice cooker recipes”

The single came out on June 2, and I just over looked it, while trying to cover other things.

The Possible have some nice outfits in this one, I cannot decide if they look more like airline attendants of Hotel workers, LOL. I do not mean that in a bad way, just trying to think what they remind me of.
