Manami is one of the members that I have grown to like, sadly due to “Due to personal and family reasons she will be leaving the group in just a few days [end of December] and going back home to Osaka.
It is unknown if at a later date, she will return to acting, Gravure work or even singing.

Unless they get deleted ,i plan to bring you footage of the other stages that you experience at Tokyo Idol Festival. TIF is a two-day 50 mostly independent ,small major idol group’s festival ,which is semi hosted by Idoling!!!
The other a-side, Ichigo Gyuunyuu (strawberry milk) of Idoling!!!'s 18th single is out.
The PV surprised me, because instead of it being a studio PV, it's actually an outdoor PV with a storyline (sort of). I've never seen Idoling!!! do a PV like this, so cheers to them for doing something different; Plus, the girls look great. However, I still don't like the song that much.

When I saw the covers, I thought they would be wearing bikini's, and I'm glad their not.

CHA CHA Sing by Berryz Koubou is the winner of the poll. It got 45% (19 votes). Out of all of these choices, Berryz new single is a single that I'm really looking forward too. Lately, while Morning Musume and C-ute have been doing great, Berryz seems like their in a slump. Aa yo ga akeru and Be Genki were great, but they weren't the best from berryz for me. However, their cover of P'Bird's popular song ounds fun and energetic. The PV is a standard H!P studio PV, but it actually looks really nice for once.
Tweet Dream/Sparkle by Fairies received second place with 35% (15 votes). I definitely think some of Fairies past works are better than their new single. For me, this is one of their weakest. However, I give props to the girls for trying out a new style, instead of sticking with the same sound and playing it safe. Unlike another group I follow... The songs aren't all bad. Tweet dream is growing one me, and Sparkle isn't half bad either. It may be their lowest selling single, but Fairies have grown a strong fanbase, in Japan, and also oversees.
Song For Smiling by Sakura Gakuin received third place with 19% (8 votes). I was surprised. Sakura Gakuin usually scores very low on polls. They are so under appreciated by everyone, it's sad. But I think their popularity went up a little, and I'm glad they snagged third place. Song for Smiling is definitely the typical upbeat, and happy Sakura Gakuin song. It's probably my least liked song from them, but the English is refreshing, and the painting outfits are cute; a nice break from their School Uniforms.I'm not sure if it's an official single yet though...but hopefully, it's included on a CD.
Go! Go! Here we go! by Ebichu took fourth place with 16% (7 votes). I adored Ebichu's debut, Karikeiyaku no Cinderella. It almost reached 30k, which is really amazing! I heard the preview, and I'm loving it so far. I just really love STARDUST in general. They really know how to produce good talents.
Headbanger by BABYMETAL took fifth with 14% (6 votes). Technically, they shouldn't be on the list because this single was released before I put the poll up, but I made a mistake. Anyway, this is another awesome single, with an awesome b side from the group! I love the PV.
One up!!!/Ichigo Gyuunyuu by Idoling!!! took last place with 9% (4 votes). This result does not surprise me. While Idoling!!! has really great success in Japan, selling 50-60k with every single, they are really unpopular with the western fanbase. I guess it's because at a glance, these girls are normal idols that don't really stand out. But actually, when you get to know the group, you'll find that Idoling!!! is really fun.
I like to watch their shows. Also, they have a good range of music.

Idoling!!! will be releasing their new singles One up!!! and Ichigo Gyuunyuu on August 8. It's a double a-side. A live performance of One up!!! can be seen here. This is the first performance with the new generation members.Maybe they'll release the PV on their official channel?

I was actually expecting Idoling!!! to do a PV containing bikini's or something, since it's summer, but I'm so glad they didn't because that would have been kind of boring, since they've already done that before.
Idoling!!! Staff has done an amazing job with the groups YouTube site .There is so much stuff on their site that it will take you weeks to watch it all.
Along with the addition of their 5th generation members, Idoling!!! Has recently created their own YouTube channel! Here, you can view previous singles, watch some of their live shows, and view misc video's featuring the members!
This is a bold and unexpected move from Idoling!!! since they can seem pretty isolated sometimes. I never expected them to open a YouTube channel.
I think this is a wonderful move though!
One of Morning Musume's singles was featured on the American YouTube page, and AKB48's singles receive a lot of views. Idoling!!! has been active for a long time, yet they don't seem to be getting any more popular―I guess It's not a bad thing, as long as their still active―but I think getting a YouTube channel and being active on it will help them tremendously.
A lot of kpop groups have their own channels too, and they accumulate a ton of views from people all over the world.Hopefully, they can be very active on their channel like Fairies.
3 girl groups have up-coming auditions, or had auditions.
Vision factory girl group Fairies is holding auditions for the group. The age ranges are of 9 and 18 to apply.
I don't see the point of adding new members to Fairies. The group is still new, with only 2 singles out. Plus, they already have 7 talented members. I hope these auditions aren't a sign that somebody is graduating from the group. I'm also not happy with the age going down as low as 9.
So far, there are 8 final candidates for the Passpo☆ auditions. To see all 8 candidates, and their information, Click Here Fans can vote for their favorite member by buying Gachi Koi (Passpo☆'s 3rd single) and choosing who they want to join Passpo☆ by voting on the ticket. The results will be announced March 31st.

has left the group. I think auditions for Passpo☆ are uneeded. They already have 9 members, which I think is more than enough! The group is also so young! When they lose 5 members, I can understand auditions, but they've only lost 1.
Girl group Idoling!!! had auditions for their 5th generation. There were 15 finalists total (click HERE to see them) and fans could vote by buying Idoling!!!'s recent single MAMORE!!! MAMORE!!! has already been released, but the new members haven't been announced yet, have they?
It's not unusual for Idoling!!! to have yearly auditions. Fonchi and Erika have graduated the group after all, and Idoling!!! likes to keep it's member count high.
2012 doesn't seem to be starting out a good year for member relations. There are too many unnecessary auditions, plus, we've lost some great members to graduations from a lot of groups. Plus, there are still more graduations to come (Sakura Gakuin), possibly Fairies too?
Idoling!!! Has a great single coming out called MAMORE!!! The single for me is just the perfect balance of tempo, harmonies .
The video has a dark warehouse setting, which I also enjoy along with some nice costumes. The song and video show the groups growing confidence .With any luck this will be the start of great things for the group in 2012.

Idoling!!! Members Yazawa Erika and Fonchi have announced their graduations effective December 31 from the group. The actual graduation will be December 23rd and the event will be broadcast on FUJI TV ONE . 800 fans will be allowed to attend for free.
Both plan to continue on in their careers after their graduations.
This special opening feels like the Olympics for Idols, and for fans of shows with a lot of idols you could not be happier with this program.

We have a Berryz beaten up in the name of comedy [will not spoil it by saying who].
The show barely gets started before S/mileage takes the gloves off and starts a near battle with their elders, and then SDN48 throws down the lingerie so to speak as the idols of sexiness declare the throne that S/mileage and others seek.
In part three Passpo☆ and SUPER☆GiRLS get into a heated after game fight.
In the end, only one group will get to promote their song at battles end.
Idol fans, get your glow sticks, member color towels and wave them proudly as the battle has started and young S/mileage and others have come to battle and aim to win.
In December another idol unit will make it`s debut under Watanabe Entertainment/Avex Trax. This Avex group will be named ChocoLe.

The groups name was selected to express the sweetness of milk chocolate, and the bitterness of being an adult.
Their debut song “Milk Chocolate“, has been picked up as the ending theme song to the anime, “SKET DANCE“, that will air this October.
Hashimoto had these comments for the media -We will do our best to become a group that will be loved by people for a long time — a group that can give energy to people.”

I keep waiting for Idoling!!! to have a breakout moment ,definitely worth buying this single and who knows it just maybe be that magic single for them.

It`s that time of the year again, when the idol world below the 48`s and H!P come together with over 30 idol units[final lineup should be near 50] for a multi day Idol festival [Wota Heaven] .
The first lineups are out and is tradition the main acts get first billing .
Idoling!!!, Sakura Gakuin, The Possible, SUPER☆GiRLS, Tokyo Joshiryu, Vanilla Beans, Fudanjuku, Passpo☆, and YGA.
This year’s theme is “Eco & Smile” and will be an eco-friendly festival ,while bringing more need to the sufferers of the Tohoku Earthquake.
To live up to this theme power will come from private generators and there will be disaster relief projects that the idols will undertake.
One light hearted moment took place during the press conference when Sakura Gakuin`s Mizuno Yui was asked a difficult question , however the ever smiling idol stepped up to the situation and answered with “I’ll ask my teacher,” and ran over to their manager.

Idoling!!!,℃-ute, 9nine, SUPER☆GiRLS, AeLL, Live Event
Idol groups Idoling!!!, ℃-ute, 9nine, SUPER☆GiRLS, AeLL are coming together to perform on the same stage for two nights only as part of a fashion event called “Japan Girls Meeting 2011”. As part of the event, the groups will perform on stage in individual mini lives. The live event will from May 21 to 22 at the Tokyo EPSON Shinagawa Aqua Stadium.
AeLL will be featured in a separate post, so please look forward to it.
Idoling!!! Has released their 15th single, entering Oricon at #3 [15,916 sales], No3B was #2 [41,141 sales], Berryz Koubou was #6.
The single includes a new song from ‘Team Gakuran‘, a unit that features Asahi Nao and Goto Kaoru. The limited edition Type A includes a DVD that includes the single PV and making of documentary. Type B includes a QT card randomly selected from 20, “note: only the first press of the regular edition will include 1 of 20 trading cards.”
Types A and B comes with four songs, including the title song instrumental, while the regular edition has an additional song called, “Ichi Koi“.
To promote the new single, the group is doing a series of handshake and CD signing events. The promotion runs from March 1 to the 13 with the members broken up into two team units.
In a related note, Idoling!!! Will release their fourth studio album, titled “SISTERS“, on March 16. The album will have 16 tracks, including their last single, “eve“, and will come in three versions: Type A, Type B, and regular edition.
Type A will include a DVD and 1 of 20 original trading cards. Type B will include 1 of 20 trading cards, plus a photobook. The CD only first press regular edition will also include 1 of 20 trading cards.
Idoling!!! Made their first overseas trip to Taiwan this week in support of their album “SUNRISE”. “SUNRISE” was released in Japan last March and is now being released in Taiwan. 1,000 fans gathered to watch the group perform six songs and member MC`s.
Leader Endo Mai addressed the crowd to tell them of the group's goals for Taiwan, by announcing “I hope you will get to know Idoling!! Much better today!”
Member Kikuchi Ami expressed her excitement over the event by saying “I was really impressed that our Taiwanese fans memorized and shouted all of our names.”
Idoling!!! Are making the bold move of expanding into Asia. First up is Taiwan. Idoling!!! Will be releasing their television show in Taiwan as well as releasing photo books, CDs and even concerts are in the works.
The goal of this move is to make Idoling!!! “Asia’s Idol group” No word if this will mean out of country auditions .Idoling!!! Already has a Vietnamese descent member Fonchi; however, she was born in Japan.
Fonchi has become very active in promoting visiting Vietnamese artists inside Japan and has a growing fan base in her parent’s former homeland.
Start date for the Taiwan expansion will be announced at a later date.
