Akimoto Expands Franchise to Fukuoka With HKT48
The mastermind of the 48`s franchise and idol legends Onyanko Club Akimoto Yasushi is continuing his long planned nationwide franchise campaign by adding a new unit to Hakata Fukuoka .The new unit is called “HKT48” (“HAKATA48”) . Auditions for this new unit started May 1.
The group already has a web site, so you can get ready to follow the newest idols in the 48 franchise. With Akimoto`s desires expressed long before AKB48 visited Los Angeles to expand his brand into the six major cities in Japan and possibly into Major International cities , adding Fukuoka to the list , makes his dream one step closer to reality.
