AKB48 Senbatsu Janken Tournament Rules

The rules have been released for the AKB48 Senbatsu Janken Tournament.
The rules are as follows


Only "Jan! Ken! Pon!" will be said in a high voice,
No other words can be used
In case of a draw, "Jan! Ken! Pon!" will be said again and the match will be replayed.

Before each match, you can enter into a microphone battle with your opponent.
Examples of legal talk are "You can play tease saying things like "I will do rock", "I will use Paper", among others."
If a player provokes the other constantly saying things like "Do rock!" she will lose for violating the rules.

You are not allowed to wear any thing on your Janken arm or hand [rings ,etc].

For making "scissors" the middle and index finger have to used
Using the thumb and index combination will be considered as violation to the rules in this tournament.

Video replay will be used to check for any invalid plays. If the match is invalid, it will be replayed.

All matches will be one fall matches, meaning the first win advances.

Other notes

Because it is uncertain who will reach the final Senbatsu, Akimoto Yasushi has mentioned in a recent interview that several songs have been written to cover several possible lineups ranging from Idol cute to Idol cool.

The tournament will take place September 21 at the legendary Budokan
