Idol News #2: チィキィパレード, エビ中, パレット

Cheeky Parade's debut single BUNBUN NINE9 has sold 23,522 copies! I'm so proud of the girls! After an awesome indie single, I really expected Cheeky Parade to come back strong with a good single, and they really reached my expectations. SUPER☆GiRLS has been in a slump lately (in song quality, bot sales), and if they don't step it up, Cheeky Parade could become iDOL Street's best group. Congratulations Cheeky Parade!

 

Also, Shiritsu Ebisu's third single, Ume has sold 41,423 copies, landing third on the weekly oricon charts! This a huge jump from their last single, which sold around 20k. I think that ebichu is getting some attention, because momoclo has gotten really popular. I think that this is a good thing because I want them to be popular with the international fanbase, like momoclo is. They have so much talent and craziness. Let's hope they keep aiming higher!

Palet, PASSPO☆'s sister group will be releasing their second mini album, SEVEN DESTINY.  I haven't really seen any performances from then, except Mune no Button, which was off of their first mini album, Hello, Palet. It's scary how radically different Palet is from their sister group! Hopefully, the girls debut soon with a single of their own!

Unless they get deleted ,i plan to bring you footage of the other stages that you experience at Tokyo Idol Festival. TIF is a two-day 50 mostly independent ,small major idol group’s festival ,which is semi hosted by Idoling!!!

Cheeky Parade TV Debut

Fast rising idol group Cheeky Parade , fresh off selling 5,000 copies of their Indie single debut, made their debut TV appearance the other night.

The buzz around this group is growing, with a major debut single coming next they have a shot of being very good, very fast.

Wotas these days are looking for fresh faced idols who are just starting their careers and who have a bit of spark and attitude .

The same old cookie cutter idol groups is not going to cut it anymore. With Indie groups becoming more creative and very fan friendly with stage diving and more ,look for more and more groups rising up like Cheeky Parade and following the playbook of being loud ,attitude changing ,wota loving, off the wall and a bit out of control idols.

Cheeky Parade Debut

 According to Cheeky Parade's Offical Blog, The new IDOL STREET group has sold 5000 copies of "Cheeky Dreamer" and will now be officially debuting!

I have taken the time to listen to cheeky dreamer, and it is really better than I thought it would be!
This group has some of the most unique voices in any group I have ever seen, so I'm excited to see what they release after cheeky dreamer.

It's wrong to compare, but I can't help but feel like I'm going to end up liking Cheeky Parade more than SUPER☆GiRLS. It's hard to judge a group by only 4 songs, but I've found myself liking Cheeky Dreamer and it's other 3 tracks more than some of SUPER☆GiRLS's releases. Plus, the choreography for cheeky Dreamer is just fun and wild!

Recently we introduced you to a new idol group called Cheeky Parade and how they were going to release a debut single called “Cheeky dreamer”.

Their single is pretty catchy and better then some better known units have put out recently .Also if you pause at 5:32 you will see that one member has a English lettering shirt that she may not know what that means in English, lol.
